Today, at 5p.m., my dad, mum, uncle, aunt, brother, and I went to Puchong to eat steamboat. The steamboat’s restaurant’s website is at here.
I heard that the steamboat is based on the winter melon. When I arrived, I see this.
It says: “I am not watermelon, if you did not eat me once, it is your fault. If you eat me only once, it is my fault”. Indeed, winter melon is often viewed as watermelon based on their shape, size, and color.
I saw many winter melons lying outside of the restaurant.
We seated down, we have 6 people and two tables, each table has a hole in the middle to put the steamboat. The menu is as follows:
We ordered a winter melon steamboat set (RM39) and a Yin Yong steamboat set (Half spicy and half soup) (RM35). Each set has one steamboat with several ingredients. The two steamboats and the ingredients are as follows:
There are many sauces that we can take in the restaurant. I took soy sauce chilli and chilli sauce.
There is also a special made sauce by Low Ma Ji. This is fried onion sauce. The sauce is fragrant.
These are the steamboat with the ingredient put in.
The spicy steamboat is very spicy that I choked and cough. They put many chillies in it. I drank 3 drinks because of the chilli. Besides the two steamboat, we also ordered few side dishes such as Tofu, sotong, beef, fish ball, etc…
After you finish eating the ingredients of the winter melon steamboat, you can use knife to cut the winter melon to eat it.
Overall, the price is RM150+ for 6 person, a reasonable price, I would recommend this restaurant and rate it 8 out of 10.
