Love sinners or hate sinners

Me and my pastor went through the book of revelations, the last book of the bible today.

And we ponder upon Revelation启示录 Chapter 2: verse 2

2 “‘I know your works, your toil and your patient endurance, and how you cannot bear evil men but have tested those who call themselves apostles but are not, and found them to be false

This is actually a letter God asked John to write to one of the seven churches.

Each church has their own weakness and strong point.
We do not know what does these seven churches meant just yet, you may be seven churches from the past, or seven churches going to come in the future or this seven churches may even mean one church.
(hebrew considers the number “seven” as whole, which can be said as one)
for example, God created the world in 7 days, everything is a whole.

So the first letter is to the church of Ephesus.

Ephesus work hard and they cannot bear evil.

So does that mean we cannot tolerate evil men (drug addicts, gay, lesbian, ETC)
Can we allow them to enter the church? Will they influence us?

For example a gay partner entered our church, do we chase them out of the church?

God asks us to love others, including loving gay, lesbian…

But what if they influence us, and make church as their playground? and let them do anything they want to our church?

Do we chase them away, leave them alone? or should we let them in and lead them to the better path?
